The National Urban League's homepage provided not only an idea of what the organization is, but also how, where and why they do what they do. The information found on this site was primarily used in the Today section.
Newton, Huey P. Revolutionary Suicide. New York: Ballantine Books, 1974.
Huey Newton's book, Revolutionary Suicide, was a great asset in putting together this website. There is no source better than Huey himself. However, it was obviously very biased in favor of Huey and his cause. But nonetheless it still showed a very clear picture of what exactly was going on in Newton's head.

This source provided a lot of the foundation information for the research. It was very informative and came from the Marxist Party itself, who Newton arguably modeled his party after.

The Brittanica Encyclopedia provided a very thorough web of information about the Black Panthers not subjected to personal bias. It was relieving to have a completely objective, detailed source like this one.
